Technical information about this website’s accessibility
Compliance status
Milton Primary School is committed to making its website accessible in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2. This is because of the issues listed below.
Non-accessible content
Documents
Some documents on this website, including PDF and Word files, do not yet fully meet accessibility standards. This may include:
-
missing document structure
-
low colour contrast
-
missing text alternatives
If you need information from any of these documents, please contact us and we will provide it in an accessible format.
Links identified by colour alone
In some areas, links are identified by colour only and are not visually distinct in other ways. We are reviewing link styling to ensure links are clearly identifiable.
Images and text alternatives
All new images added to the website include appropriate text alternatives. Some older images may not have alt text, which may affect screen reader users.
We aim to review older content and add missing text alternatives before our next scheduled review.
How we tested this website
This website was self-assessed by the Innovative IT Solutions web team using the Silktide browser extension.
We also regularly test the site using a range of devices and browsers.

We do not currently plan to add captions to live video streams, as live video is exempt from the accessibility regulations.
Disproportionate burden
Not applicable.
Content outside the scope of the regulations

What we are doing to improve accessibility
We are actively working to address the issues identified in this statement. Accessibility is considered as part of our ongoing website maintenance, and we have processes in place to help ensure that all new content meets accessibility regulations.
